What to Wear for your Western Engagement Photos
Let me start off by saying, wearing whatever makes you feel the most comfortable is always what is going to look the best. I am just here to help give you some inspo for your western engagement photos. Here, you will find a mixture of dressier outfits and more casual options. Switching out pieces here or there and mixing and matching with pieces you already have in your closet and accessorizing with jewelry! I will be giving you the base, you get to jazz it up with your own personal style from there!

Black Tie Meets Cowboy Chic
This look is perfect for a night out on the town with your cowboy. A downtown setting, your favorite bar, or even a little Hotel Drover action. I paired this look with three different shoe options here as well to dress this look up or down.

Dressed up Casual
This might be my personal favorite. As you will probably see, I am a neutrals gal and I also love dressing up your everyday outfit. These boots are so fun and you could easily add your favorite western belt to this look to accessorize!

Classy + Cowboy
I love this look because of the contrasting black and white. Wearing a white dress will make you feel like a bride + be perfect for your western engagement photos. Your look here leans a little less western, but you can always lean that direction with some navajo earrings or accessories!

Gold Gal
This is for the girl who loves gold. Western jewelry has finally started to branch into the gold world and I love the warmth gold accessories to a look. This outfit could easily be changed up a bit to go with silver or turquoise jewels too!

Denim on Demin
Just because these are your engagement photos, you don’t HAVE to wear white. Let me say that one more time. You do not have to wear white for your engagement photos. I always love a denim on denim look, you can change this up with a similar shirt but short sleeves too!

Casual with a Western Flare
You may notice, all I switched out here, was the top and this gives a totally different look than the denim on denim. This look is so springy + fun. You could even switch the jeans out for a denim skirt and that would be so fun too.

Spring Florals
Spring, summer, even early fall. A fun dress like this will feel bridal but also add so much movement to your photos. A dress isn’t for everyone, but it truly will add so much to your images and overall gallery of your western engagement photos.

Girly with a Western Flare
The perfect white dress with a light floral print. Pairs so well with your favorite pop of color booties! I love how bridal this look feels but how you can still add in your personality with the pops of color in your accessories.

Fairytale Bride
Garden party meets cowgirl. This is the perfect blend of two worlds making it a great option for your western engagement session! Accessorize with any of your favorite jewels, turquoise or gold to finish this look off!
