Robert + Laura made the decision to tie the knot in a location that holds special significance for them. Pinedale, Wyoming, a destination they’ve frequented throughout their years of dating, held a profound place in their hearts. They were certain that this was the ideal setting to exchange vows and pledge their enduring love to each other, with only their nearest family members present.
Laura has a close friend who oversees a resort featuring individual cabins in Pinedale. Naturally, she contacted her friend first to organize accommodation for themselves and all their guests. Upon my arrival the day before their wedding, we enjoyed an evening together, sharing pizza and engaging in heartfelt conversation.
On the morning of their wedding day, we took our time, + I ended up doing Laura’s hair and makeup due to an unexpected issue with her original booking for those services. I was more than happy to step in and assist in any way I could!
Robert + Laura chose to have their first look + exchange private vows overlooking the foggy lake just outside their cabin before we ventured up the mountain to begin their portraits. After some exploration (and a bit of time to warm up!), their families joined us on the mountain for their ceremony, which was officiated by Robert’s uncle.
We concluded the evening with further exploration of the mountains as the heavy snowfall subsided. Then, we made our way back down the mountain to retreat to our cabins and warm up before heading into town for a steak dinner, followed by some festive celebrations!
