Kira’s morning was filled with love and laughter as she got ready surrounded by her bridesmaids. Instead of a traditional first look with her groom, she chose to have her bridesmaids help her get ready so she could share an intimate moment with both her mom and dad during a first look with both of them—a heartfelt choice that made for some truly emotional and beautiful memories. As she slipped into her wedding dress, she paired it with the perfect finishing touch—her Dingo boots, which reflected the way she and Kade met, both of them working at Boot Barn and her fun-loving spirit.

Her wedding party was a unique blend of tradition and modernity, as she had two close male friends stand by her side alongside her bridesmaids. This thoughtful touch showcased the importance of friendships, regardless of gender, and made for a wedding party that truly reflected who she is. We also got to have a blast exploring so many perks on the venue so all of their wedding party portraits had a different look.

The Ceremony: A Special Four-Legged Guest

One of the sweetest details of the ceremony was the inclusion of the couple’s beloved dog. Dressed for the occasion, their furry friend walked down the aisle, adding an extra dose of personality and charm to the moment. The ceremony itself was a heartfelt exchange of vows, with the Texas countryside providing a breathtaking backdrop. The love between the couple was evident in every glance and smile, making for an incredibly touching ceremony that left guests misty-eyed.

After saying “I do,” the couple and their guests transitioned into a reception that was all about fun. One of the most unique details? They chose to serve wood fire pizza for dinner! A choice that was both relaxed and delicious, it reflected their easygoing personalities and love for good food. Guests loved the casual dining experience, which only added to the night’s joyful and lighthearted atmosphere.

We snuck away from cocktail hour just as the sun was setting for Kade and Kira to enjoy some time just the two of them for their portraits. When it came time for the first dance, the newlyweds took the floor with confidence and excitement. Their dance wasn’t just a simple sway—it was a full performance, complete with a lift and spin that had everyone cheering. The groom’s smooth moves and the bride’s beaming smile made for an unforgettable moment that set the tone for the rest of the night. One of the best parts was all of their guests watching and smiling proudly.

As the evening progressed, the dance floor became the heart of the celebration. The couple, their friends, and family danced the night away, laughing and celebrating their love with every step. The joy in the room was infectious, and no one wanted the night to end. With high-energy music, a lively crowd, and an atmosphere of pure happiness, it was a reception that will be remembered for years to come. The three of us did have to sneak away to the bonfire for a quick minute to snag a few cozy photos by the fire. Nighttime portraits are some of my favorites because it gives the two of you a moment away from everyone else to just soak in a few more moments just the two of you. Plus they just make for some unique photos to cherish too!
